SUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT
DOCTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM
We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for the Doctoral Training Program in Sustainable Water Management (Water4All). The Water4All multilateral project is co-funded by the European Research Executive Agency (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. Four leading universities in Turkey, the Izmir Institute of Technology (coordinator), Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, and Gebze Technical University, will recruit a total of 20 candidates for the doctoral program.

Regarding eligibility criteria, the WATER4ALL program is looking for candidates who:
- Have not lived or carried out any main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Turkey for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the application deadline.
- Are PhD candidates, meaning they do not yet hold a PhD at the program’s application deadline. Researchers who have successfully defended their PhD thesis but have not yet formally received the PhD title will not be considered eligible.
- Have a bachelor's degree GPA ≥3.0 in one of the following fields: Engineering, Photonics, Urban Planning, Data Science, or closely related fields.
- Hold a Master's degree or equivalent in one of the following fields: Engineering, Photonics, Urban Planning, Data Science, or closely related fields.
- Are fluent in English. Non-native English speakers should provide an internationally recognized test score, such as TOEFL. Applicants should have a TOEFL/IBT score ≥84 or equivalent.
- Have a GRE score of at least 158 points in the quantitative section obtained in the last 5 years.
