NCP_WIDERA.NET 2022-2025
The NCP_WIDERA.NET project is a coordination and support initiative funded by the European Commission through the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe. Coordinated by Poland's National Center for Research and Development, the project runs from 2022 to 2025 and involves an extensive network of 45 partners from various countries.
The main objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of National Contact Points (NCPs) in the field of Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA), providing substantial support to entities with less experience within the EU and associated countries, including the Republic of Moldova. The aim is to bridge knowledge gaps and improve these entities’ access to funding opportunities and success in the EU Horizon Europe Program.
The project also aims to support the creation of international networks and enhance the quality of project proposals from organizations in underperforming countries within the EU Horizon Europe Program, particularly in WIDERA-related calls and those under Pillar II of the EU Program. Additionally, it focuses on identifying and sharing best practices within the NCP network, contributing to raising standards and strengthening European and international collaboration in research and innovation.
