Workshop: Developing European Project Proposals in the Field of Sustainable Utilization of Co-products and Food Raw Material Waste

This training provides the necessary knowledge to identify European funding opportunities, develop innovative projects, and support the sustainable development of the food sector in Moldova. It is organized by the National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD), with the support of the Diaspora Relations Office, and led by Associate Professor Dr. Janna Cropotova, an international expert in bioeconomy.
The main goal is to enhance skills in preparing European projects, developing solutions for utilizing secondary flows in the food industry, and applying advanced technologies in the field of bioeconomy.
The training will take place in 3-hour sessions on November 26, November 28, December 3, and December 5.
Location: Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard 180, 11th floor, office 1119 (ANCD headquarters).
Participation is free and intended for individuals with experience in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, and related fields.

Workshop for early-career researchers organized by JPIAMR.

Period: November 18, 14:00 CET - November 19, 13:00 CET
Location: Berlin, Germany
The objectives of the workshop are to strengthen the capacity of early-career researchers and stimulate networking, providing them with the opportunity to meet experts in the field of AMR.
Opening talks will be delivered by Professors Eliora Ron and Kornelia Smalla. Professor Jeffrey Almond will share his expertise on dissemination, while Professor Gad Frankel will speak from the perspective of an expert evaluator. There will be an interactive soft skills session, as well as presentations from coordinators of successful projects within JPIAMR, and information will be provided about funding opportunities within the upcoming European One Health AMR partnership.
Travel Grants:
Applications for travel grants for the JPIAMR Workshop for early-career researchers are now open! The grant will cover one night’s accommodation, travel expenses, and a shared dinner. Further details will be provided later.

Internship Opportunity at the German Bundestag

The German Bundestag invites young graduates from higher education institutions in the Republic of Moldova and public servants to participate in an internship program in Berlin.
About the Program
This internship lasts for 5 months, during which candidates will work within the office of a German Member of Parliament. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the German parliamentary system, understand political decision-making processes, and gain practical experience in parliamentary work.
Conditions and Benefits
- Duration: March 1 - July 31, 2025
- Monthly Stipend: Provided for all participants
- Insurance: Costs for health, accident, and liability insurance are covered
- Accommodation: Free or with a monthly contribution for self-arranged accommodation
- Travel Expenses: Reimbursed for round-trip travel to Berlin
